Foreign Ministry follows up on Jordanians in Sudan

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry, in coordination with its operations centre and the Jordanian embassy in Khartoum, is closely monitoring the safety and wellbeing of Jordanians residing in Sudan amid ongoing security developments.
Sinan Majali, the ministry's spokesman, said that the Jordanian embassy in Khartoum has established an operations room that is open 24/7 to respond to any inquiries or observations made by Jordanians living in the country.
The embassy is also reaching out to Jordanian citizens residing or studying in Sudan via its database, according to a ministry statement. The ministry issued a statement calling on Jordanians residing in or visiting Sudan to exercise utmost caution and stay away from areas of tension, while adhering to instructions issued by local authorities.
