Shraideh discusses progress of public sector moderinisation roadmap

AMMAN — The higher ministerial committee assigned to follow up on the executive programme for public sector modernisation on Monday held its first meeting and discussed progress in implementing the roadmap's priority outputs, in addition to the follow-up mechanism. 

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nasser Shraideh, who chaired the meeting, reviewed the preparations made to institutionalise the follow-up process and spoke on the latest developments in the establishment of a department for the management and implementation of the executive programme for public sector modernisation and digital transformation.

The committee also highlighted the importance of holding panel sessions to discuss the roadmap with the relevant stakeholders, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The gathering emphasised the government's commitment to conducting all necessary studies and assessments, as well as legal, technical and administrative reviews before rolling out the initiatives listed in the roadmap.
