Ministry of Agriculture, Olive Oil Producer Mill Owner Syndicate, JFU sign olive oil marketing campaign MoU

AMMAN — The Ministry of Agriculture, Olive Oil Producer and Mill Owner Syndicate and Jordanian Farmers Association (JFU) on Monday signed the national olive oil marketing campaign memorandum of understanding. Agriculture Minister Khalid Hneifat said that the campaign is one of a series of measures taken by the ministry to safeguard the Jordanian olive oil, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The campaign goals include raising awareness among consumers to purchase virgin olive oil exclusively from trusted sources, he added. For their part, the head of JFU and the president of Olive Oil Producers Syndicate praised the ministry's role in the development and safeguarding of Jordanian olive and olive oil industry.
