Safadi makes phone calls with counterparts over efforts to halt war on Gaza

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Ayman Safadi on Sunday continued his phone calls as part of ongoing efforts to halt the war on Gaza and guarantee delivering humanitarian aid to the strip. Safadi made phone calls with his counterparts of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco and the UAE, as well as the high representative of the EU for foreign affairs and security policy, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The minister warned of the humanitarian catastrophe that will exacerbate as the war on Gaza persists, reiterating the importance of ending the war and adhering to international law and international humanitarian law.
