Lower House speaker inaugurates Arab Lawyers Union's three-day meetings

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi on Thursday inaugurated the Arab Lawyers Union's three-day meetings hosted by Jordanian Bar Association in Amman under the title "Palestine, the Just Cause".
In his opening remarks Safadi said that His Majesty King Abdullah, since the onset of the aggression, has been working to halt the war against Gaza, protect civilians and provide humanitarian assistance, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Safadi said that Jordan's decision to recall the ambassador to Israel is a response to the Israeli aggression against Gaza adding that Israel must be tried for its crimes against civilians, bombardment of hospitals, churches, mosques and refugee camps.
